Master, Your Wife Has Become a Super Star Through Fortune-Telling

Chapter 310 - 312: Lackey

Chapter 310 - 312: Lackey

The ghost being used as a club was also stunned. Su Nian had control of its head and neck, but its body slammed onto a chair with a loud CRACK. The pain was indescribable.

If he had control of his own body, he would have been hopping around, clutching his foot in agony.

[Hiss, that’s our Heavenly Venerate for you!]

[The woman, fierce as a hawk, let out a wild cackle.]

[The man, once a tiger, now feels a chill in his pants.]

The man stared blankly at the chair, now smashed in two. He swallowed hard and looked back at the ghost in Su Nian’s hand.

’Somebody save me! Is this a dream?!’

Besides his terror, the other passengers couldn’t help but shudder. Who comes up with such a god-tier move, using a ghost as a club???

"Do you still have a problem with me?"

Su Nian lifted the Evil Ghost and swung it around. Her tone was casual, but it nearly made the man drop to his knees again.

"No, no, of course not! No problem at all."

"Good."

His attitude had flipped in just a few minutes. And besides him, all the other passengers on the bus were now staring at Su Nian with awe.

This was the first time they had ever encountered such a god-like person who used a ghost as a weapon. It was beyond outrageous.

After dealing with the creep, Su Nian noticed the nervousness of the other passengers. She hefted the Ghost Stick, her gaze sweeping over them, and for a moment, it felt like they were about to fall to their knees.

Su Nian ambled to the front of the bus. She tinkered with the controls for a moment, and the vehicle instantly came to a stop.

"My mission is to investigate this bus. I expect your cooperation."

The passengers’ expressions changed instantly. But Su Nian was used to such looks and paid them no mind. She lazily took a few steps forward, preparing to take a seat.

’This supernatural bus is no simple matter,’ she thought. ’More importantly, I can sense more than one ghost on board, but I can’t see the others.’

"Hey, hey, hey! Please, sit here!"

The old lady who had been badmouthing Su Nian just moments ago instantly became fawning. A wide grin on her face, she hurriedly wiped down the chair for Su Nian.

Her enthusiastic and meticulous service made it seem as if Su Nian were her ancestor.

"By the way, do you like shoulder rubs? I’m not just bragging, but my grandson’s shoulder and back massage skills are second to none."

The old lady spoke enthusiastically, dragging her grandson over.

As she tried hard to sell his services, the little boy looked blankly at his grandmother, then at the seated Su Nian.

Inspiration struck, and he immediately said, "Right! My back massages are super comfortable!"

Su Nian squeezed the ghost, currently in the process of reshaping it. As a stick, it was too long for her to exert her full power.

She nodded nonchalantly. "Fine. But make sure you use some force. I won’t feel anything if it’s too light."

"Of course!" the old lady said, chuckling as she pushed her grandson forward.

[PFFT HAHAHA!]

[This bootlicker has achieved enlightenment!]

[All I can say is, this old lady really knows how to read the room!]

[Awesome, awesome, she got two new minions.]

The little boy was only about ten years old. He glanced fearfully at the toy-like ghost in Su Nian’s hand, but his hands still moved deftly as he began to massage her back.

The others watched. That old lady was known for being sharp-tongued and harsh.

But with age comes cunning, and her current pivot to fawning was utterly shameless and without a moment’s hesitation.

They all cursed her inwardly for being so cunning, while also regretting that they hadn’t been the first to latch onto this powerful patron.

One of the quicker-witted ones immediately scurried to the front.

"Master, what do you need to know? Ask me! I got on at the very first stop, so I know everything that’s happened on this trip!"

Su Nian raised an eyebrow slightly. "Alright. Then tell me what strange things have happened on this bus."

"When I first got on, everything was normal. It wasn’t until you got on that the man started shouting about a ghost or something."

"I don’t know if he’s an expert or something, but I thought it was strange. From his vantage point, he couldn’t have seen the driver up front. Besides, I distinctly remember the driver being there the whole time, so I don’t get why he would shout that."

"I concluded that either he has the Yin Yang Eye and noticed something was wrong with the driver, or he was trying to trick that young lady. I think it’s the latter."

Su Nian had shown no reaction to his analysis so far, but now, she raised her eyebrows slightly.

"Actually, I suspect that guy was no good either. I even think he might be the one who caused this whole situation with the bus."

"I was the first person to board at the first stop, but somehow, he ended up sitting in front of me. I don’t even know when he got there. But I let that slide, figuring maybe I just didn’t notice."

"But I think he’s very likely a bad person. He didn’t react when other people got on, but as soon as that girl boarded, he started staring at her. Then he bizarrely claimed there was a ghost on the bus and insisted on dragging her off!"

Hearing this, the young woman became indignant. After all, from her perspective...

that man was her savior. If he had succeeded, she would have been off this bus long ago.

"How can you spout such nonsense! He was just trying to save me!"

The man gave her a knowing look and continued his analysis, trying to curry favor with Su Nian. "It’s not my place to say, but what’s so special about you that he’d single you out to save? Besides, I thought something was off at the time. The place where he tried to pull you off the bus was pitch-black and completely unsafe. There was nobody at that stop!"

Then, the man muttered under his breath, "And his face was so pale. He felt chilly all over. I actually suspected he was a ghost! But then I figured he was just a human trafficker. The ghost on the bus was probably trying to get revenge on him for his evil deeds!"

The girl tried to retort, but the other passengers were also looking at the man strangely. ’What kind of convoluted nonsense is this analysis?’

[This guy’s analysis actually sounds pretty reasonable!]

[It’s total nonsense. If he were a ghost, why would he try to lure the girl away?]

[But I think he has a point. There are other, more attractive girls on this bus. And it wasn’t even convenient for him to grab her, so why did he specifically choose her?]

[And that stop really was dark. The streamer was the only one waiting for the bus!]

The girl was about to explode with anger. Unwilling to listen to this man slander her savior, she immediately started arguing with him.

Su Nian let out a laugh, but her eyes shifted to the human head clutched in the hand of her weapon.

For some reason, the head’s eyes seemed to be darting around evasively.

"I won’t let you slander him like this! He was already killed by a ghost, and you’re still spouting such nonsense!"

The man, now labeled a purveyor of nonsense, tried to defend himself, but other passengers, eager to get Su Nian’s attention, also began to offer their analyses.

"Your theory is full of holes!"

"Yeah, exactly! It’s totally unreliable!"

But just then, Su Nian lifted the head.

Her calm and composed voice drifted over.

"He’s not a human trafficker. He’s a ghost..."
