Chapter 782 - 781: Aggrieved
Chapter 782 - 781: Aggrieved
Felicity Sterling could plead for June Kane, yet also hate her because of June.
"Serena Sullivan!"
Felicity shouted angrily, it was exactly as Serena had said.
She came today to see Mr. Sterling and the madam but hadn’t even warmed her seat in the main hall before being politely ushered out by Mr. Sterling.
Why was the Sterling Family treating her like this?
Her mother was Simon Sterling’s wife; she was the Sterling family’s true daughter!
"What do you mean by that? Why shouldn’t I come to the Sterling family? Before you showed up, my mother was the lady of the house!"
Felicity said loudly, her eyes reddening.
Resentment and hatred were clear in her voice.
"Why can’t you come to the Sterling family? Don’t you understand?"
Ethan Grant sneered coldly; he found it strange as well.
Could it be that seeing Serena unharmed made the Sterling family pity Felicity, who was outside, and invite her back?
If that’s the case, he wouldn’t bring Serena here, to save her the annoyance of seeing Felicity!
"You all are bullying me too much!"
Felicity cried out, her voice breaking into sobs.
Serena watched her cry so aggrievedly and frowned.
They had just bumped into Felicity, who had started with extreme sarcasm, showing her hatred for Serena plainly on her face.
Her words were retorted by Serena, with Ethan helping on the side, but it wasn’t enough to make Felicity cry.
Felicity had been taught by June Kane to be a proper lady, not someone who would cry easily from anger.
This familiar tactic reminded Serena of something she had seen Zoe Quinn do before.
The tears were shed for effect!
And in the Sterling family’s old house, just who was Felicity showing them to?
"What are you all doing here!"
Serena was still pondering when an angry voice came over, and an old lady walked over.
This old lady, Serena had met before at the Sterling family’s old house.
Seeing the old lady appear, Ethan was taken aback as well. He stepped forward, standing in front of Serena.
"Mrs. Walsh, long time no see."
She was Elliot Walsh’s grandmother, Mrs. Walsh, and more importantly, Carter Lockwood’s grandmother.
Mrs. Walsh had been to Solaria before, and naturally, Ethan, who had a good relationship with Carter, had met her.
Mrs. Walsh appearing at the Sterling family’s old house, and standing up for Felicity, Ethan quickly realized that Elliot and Felicity were already together, or in other words, Felicity had won over Elliot and Mrs. Walsh.
Because Elliot’s parents passed away early, the old lady had always doted on her poor grandson, and she was someone who fiercely protected her own.
If Felicity was with Elliot, the old lady would consider her as family.
"Ethan, my boy."
When Mrs. Walsh saw Ethan, her tone softened, and she looked past him to Serena.
Serena’s appearances in the Imperial Capital caused a storm, but Mrs. Walsh wasn’t interested in that; she was only protecting her granddaughter-in-law.
"You’ve really gotten bold, bullying my family members right in front of my eyes."
As Mrs. Walsh spoke, Felicity walked over with reddened eyes and called softly, "Grandma."
Seeing Felicity’s grievance, Mrs. Walsh patted her hand tenderly.
"Mrs. Walsh, we wouldn’t dare to bully a member of the Walsh family."
Understanding Ethan’s respect for the old lady, Serena replied.
Mrs. Walsh looked coldly at Serena. This face clearly inherited from Simon Sterling, was exceptionally beautiful, and even her crippled legs made her seem pitiable, no wonder the Sterling family protected her.
However, the Sterling family has been too harsh on their previous granddaughter—Felicity Sterling.
