Chapter 366 - 365: Isn’t It Pretty?
Elaine Vaughn and Sharon Cheney both knew that no one had told her about these things before, so they didn’t laugh at her for not understanding the process.
Elaine asked, "Bella, what do you plan to do with the first payment you received in your life?"
"Save money," Bella Acker immediately responded, "I want to save money to buy a house for Aunt Sienna and Ethan, and also save for Ethan to go to school. They say kindergarten is particularly expensive, so I need to save more."
"Aunt Sienna? Ethan?" Elaine was hearing these names for the first time and was a bit puzzled.
Sharon explained, "They are a caregiver and a child from the orphanage."
"Bella still doing charity work?" Elaine was somewhat surprised, immediately thinking it could be used to boost Bella’s popularity and create a positive image.
"It’s not charity. Aunt Sienna and Ethan are my family," Bella shook her head and said, "I also grew up in the orphanage."
Elaine hadn’t known these details before, and after hearing them, she was taken aback but soon smiled, "There are many work opportunities, so make good money. Maybe someday you can even send Ethan to study abroad."
"That’s exactly what I’m thinking," Bella said, "Ethan is really smart, he’s very good at reading and writing, there will definitely be no problems in the future."
Elaine nodded, "Bella, besides Ethan, are there other children at the orphanage?"
"There were originally four other children, but they were adopted recently, so now only Ethan is left," Bella explained, "Ethan is older and has started remembering things, and those families adopting children worry about not bonding well, so he’s still here. I used to worry a lot, but now that I can make money myself, I can also give Ethan a great future, so I’m not worried anymore."
Elaine and Sharon both felt touched after hearing this.
Sharon smiled warmly, "Things will only get better from now on."
Elaine also nodded, "Yes! Don’t worry, the money you’ll earn will only keep increasing. You can support not just one Ethan but ten or eight more children, without having to ask anyone else for help."
"Then Bella might become the king of the children," Sharon said jokingly.
"Even the king of the children..." Bella had just started to speak when her phone rang from her pocket, "I need to take this call."
She took out her phone and answered, and from the other end, Damian Sinclair said, "I’m at the studio entrance."
"Okay, wait for me, I’ll be right out,"
"Go on, don’t waste time with us here," Elaine waved her hand.
Bella blushed a little with embarrassment, "Then Aunt Flynn, I’ll be leaving now. Bye-bye."
"Go, and have some fun," Sharon nodded with a smile.
Bella said goodbye to the two and jogged out of the studio with her backpack.
Damian was waiting in the car, watching her as she came out, and honked the horn.
Bella found his car, quickly walked over, got into the passenger seat, and said, "Let’s buy some good food first to bring back for Aunt Sienna and Ethan."
"Anything’s fine," Damian looked at her, "Aren’t you tired from sitting in the car for several hours?"
"Not tired," Bella took off her backpack and said, "I slept all the way here. By the way, Damian, I have a gift for you." As she spoke, she took out a figurine from her bag, it was of the character Hera she played in Brocade River and Mountain.
"A souvenir from the crew?" Damian asked as he took it.
"Yeah," Bella nodded, "Isn’t it beautiful? I really wish every crew would give out such figures."
